In March 2003 Artcha won the Home-Grown Cuts competition on Radio 1 Xtra for the track ‘N.O.M.A.D’ with 48% of the public vote, demonstrating the ‘buzz’ surrounding the young entertainer. In 2004 Artcha was also honoured to be chosen to represent the UK in BET’s Global Hip Hop search. This opportunity gained him even more respect and credibility.
An exciting and vibrant performer, Artcha has done shows around the country from top West End clubs such as Sound, Click Club and Café de Paris to large festivals like the Notting Hill Carnival. His performances have included the Love Music Hate Racism Tour in Essex, the Martin Luther King Birthday Celebration in Peterborough and live band performance at Lockside Lounge in Camden with The Spredluv Collective, where he continued to keep audiences entertained. Artcha’s hard work and humility have also gained him respect and admiration from DJs and industry peers alike.
